It is basic farm camping with hot water and nice showers. Lovely owners and perfect for fishing Rutland Water.

I can't work out if this is still open, the phone number is disconnected and no reply to email. I did ring another number onlinr and speak to someone but he directed me to another campsite next to the sailing club which is members only if you have a tent.

Lovely peaceful campsite, with wonderful views of Rutland Water. Host was accommodating for our short notice trip. Toilets and showers were clean, but don't expect any electrical hookups. Decent Pub was a 20 min walk away.

Brilliant campsite. Fantastic view of Rutland Water. Great facilities - toilet, shower and washing up facilities. Friendly and helpful owner. Wheel barrows to move tent and bags to site from our car. Quiet site. Lively warm showers. Great cycle routes around tge area.

Lovely back to basics campsite. Clare was so helpful & friendly on arrival. Gorgeous views, peaceful setting. Finch’s arms fifteen minutes walk, lovely terrace on the back. The thought of no electricity I didn’t like but once there I didn’t need it. Definitely staying again!!

Armley Lodge Farm Caravan and Motorhome Club Certified Location is located on the Hambleton Peninsular, close to the banks of Rutland Water and is part of a working farm. A great location for cycling and walking around Rutland Water and is close to the nearby town of Oakham. Great views over the reservoir. Good TV reception and 4G. 16 amp hook ups. No on site toilets or showers. Care needed on approach through Hambleton village as roads are narrow and can be busy at popular times. Friendly and helpful owners. I can thoroughly recommend to all.

Stayed at the CL site for one week. Variable weather but fantastic, relaxing location!
